Stephen M. Goddard, CFA

Founder, Managing Principal, Chief Investment Officer, Lead Portfolio Manager

Stephen M. Goddard is Managing Director and Founder of The London Company, and heads the firm's investment committee. He has over 27 years of investment experience, beginning his career as an analyst in 1985 for Scott & Stringfellow, followed by Senior Portfolio Management positions at CFB Advisory and Flippin, Bruce & Porter.

A CFA charterholder, member of the Richmond Society of Financial Analysts, and a former Board member of the Virginia Asset Management Investment Corporation, Goddard earned his BA in Economics (Distinguished) from Virginia Military Institute in 1983 and his MBA (concentration in Finance) from the University of Richmond in 1985.

Jonathan T. Moody, CFA

Principal, Portfolio Manager

Mr. Moody is a principal, portfolio manager, and a member of the firm's investment committee. Prior to joining The London Company, he founded Primary Research Group. Mr. Moody has over 24 years of investment experience.

Mr. Moody started his career at Woodward and Associates, followed by analyst/portfolio manager positions at Piedmont Capital and Crestar Asset Management (now Trusco). Mr. Moody also worked at BB&T Capital Markets.

Mr. Moody performed his graduate studies in Biomedical Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute in 1986. Mr. Moody is a CFA charterholder and a member of CFA Virginia.

J. Brian Campbell, CFA

Portfolio Manager

Brian Campbell is a portfolio manager and a member of the firm's investment committee. Mr. Campbell has over 13 years of industry experience beginning his career in 2000 as an equity analyst at INVESCO-National Asset Management.

Before joining The London Company, Mr. Campbell spent the previous six years as a portfolio manager and the Director of Research at Hilliard Lyons Capital Management. Mr. Campbell received a B.B.A in Finance (with Honors) from the University of Kentucky in 1998 and his MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 2004. Mr. Campbell is a charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Virginia.

Mark E. DeVaul, CFA, CPA

Portfolio Manager

Mark DeVaul is a portfolio manager and a member of the firm's investment committee. Mr. DeVaul has over 17 years of professional experience beginning his career in public accounting followed by over 10 years in equity research.

Before joining The London Company, Mr. DeVaul spent four years as an equity research analyst with First Union Securities and Salomon Smith Barney, followed by over eight years with Nuveen Investments. Mr. DeVaul received a BS in Accounting from Liberty University in 1993 and his MBA from the University of Notre Dame in 1997. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Virginia. Mark is also a licensed CPA.

Jeffrey E. Markunas, CFA

Portfolio Manager

Mr. Markunas is a portfolio manager and a member of the firm's investment committee. He has over 28 years of investment experience, managing equity portfolios and teams. Prior to joining The London Company, he served as President and CIO of Iron Oak Advisers (subsidiary of Ridgeworth Investments), Managing Director Equity for SunTrust Investment Advisory Group, and Director of Equity Management for Crestar Asset Management.

Mr. Markunas received his BA from the College of the Holy Cross and his MS in Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University. Mr. Markunas is a CFA charterholder, a member and Past President of the CFA Society Virginia.

Andrew J. Wetzel

Principal, Chief Compliance Officer

Mr. Wetzel has 10 years of experience in the investment industry. He was an equity trader with Wachovia Securities prior to joining The London Company in 2007. In his original position with The London Company, he served as the Head Trader for 5 years. Mr. Wetzel graduated from the University of Virginia in 2002 with a B.A. in Economics.

Melissa A. Carlucci

Principal, Chief Operating Officer

Mrs. Carlucci has 13 years experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining The London Company, she worked as an Investment Analyst for Hewitt Investment Group. She is a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society and Delta Mu Delta National Honor Society. Mrs. Carlucci graduated Magna Cum Laude from John F. Welch College of Business, Sacred Heart University with a B.S. in Finance and Business Administration.

Timothy C. McCoy, Jr.

Director of Institutional Sales & Marketing

Mr. McCoy has 20 years of industry experience, beginning his career in 1993 at First Union Securities. More recently, he spent 11 years at Thompson, Siegel & Walmsley, serving on both the SMA and Institutional Marketing teams. Mr. McCoy graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1991 with a B.A. in Political Science. He also completed the Carolina Business Institute in 1993.

Laura F. Gardner

Marketing Specialist

Mrs. Gardner has 13 years of industry experience beginning her career in 2000 at Morgan Stanley. More recently she was employed by Davenport & Company on the institutional sales team. Mrs. Gardner graduated from James Madison University in 1998 with a B.S. in Business Administration. She completed her MBA degree at the University of Richmond in 2008.

Darryl P. Layne

Equity Trader

Mr. Layne has over 19 years of investment experience, beginning his career at Wheat First Butcher Singer. Prior to joining The London Company, he was Associate Director of Equity Trading for the Mentor Investment Group, Head Trader for Flippin, Bruce & Porter, and Trader for Edelman Financial Group. Mr. Layne graduated from Longwood College in 1990 with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Douglas W. Swartz

Equity Trader

Mr. Swartz has 17 years of experience in the financial industry, beginning his career at Wheat First Butcher Singer. Prior to joining The London Company, he was Vice President and Senior Trader on the Middle Market Institutional Coverage Desk at Wachovia Securities and a Trading Specialist with Edelman Financial Services. Mr. Swartz graduated from Washington & Jefferson College in 1994 with a B.A. in Business Administration.

John M. Lombardo

Equity Trader

Mr. Lombardo has 19 years of experience in the financial markets, starting his career at National Discount Brokers. Prior to joining The London Company, he was Vice President of Equity Sales Trading at Mizuho Securities USA and Vice President of Equity Trading at Morgan Joseph & Co. Mr. Lombardo attended Rider University.

Robin Taylor

Operations, Compliance Administrator

Ms. Taylor has over 32 years of experience in the investment industry. She was employed with The London Company four years ago and held the position of Securities Trader, Vice-President of Administration. More recently she was a Compliance Specialist with Edelman Financial Services. Prior to joining The London Company, she was Director of Client Services & Operations, Director of Compliance at TransCommunity Investment Advisors, Inc., Securities Trader at Kanawha Capital Management, LLC, and Assistant Portfolio Manager, Securities Trader at Godsey & Gibb Associates. Ms. Taylor attended Virginia Wesleyan College.

Molly E. Hood

Director of Administration

Ms. Hood has over 5 years experience in the administrative support industry. Prior to joining The London Company, she worked for the Virginia House Appropriations Committee and Lennar Corporation in New York. Ms. Hood earned her B.A. in Media Arts & Design from James Madison University in 2003, as well as her M.F.A. in Classical Acting from The George Washington University in 2009.

Martha G. Purvis

Operations Supervisor

Ms. Purvis has over 27 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining The London Company, she was a Client Service Manager at Lowe, Brockenbrough & Company, with trading, administration, and operations responsibilities. Ms. Purvis earned her B.S. in Social Work from Radford University in 1981.

Charlotte R. Hundley

Account Administrator

Mrs. Hundley has over 8 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining The London Company, she worked 14 years in client services and account administration for Reynolds Metals Company in purchasing and Business Center International. Mrs. Hundley earned her BA in English from Elon University in North Carolina.

Sheri W. Puryear

Portfolio Administrator, Operations

Ms. Puryear has 13 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining The London Company, she worked as a finance and portfolio administrator for Thompson, Siegel & Walmsley, LLC. Ms. Puryear earned her B.S. in Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1993.

Kelly E. Young

Portfolio Administrator, Operations

Ms. Young has over 4 years of experience in operations. Prior to joining The London Company, she worked at TriMech Solutions where she was responsible for database administration, client relations, and accounts receivables. Ms. Young earned her B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from the Spencer and Martha Love School of Business at Elon University in 2007.

Madison R. Carl

Portfolio Administrator, Operations

Ms. Carl recently joined The London Company after working with a law firm in large class action claims administration. Ms. Carl graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Biology in 2011.

Mae H. DeBruin

Accountant

Ms. DeBruin recently joined The London Company after working in public accounting, specializing in governmental audits and taxation. Ms. DeBruin graduated Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Oswego with a B.S. in Accounting in 2010, and an MBA (concentration in Accounting) in 2011.
