The London Company is seeking an Internal Business Development Associate to join our Client Service team in Richmond, VA. This is an internal client support and sales position.
Key criteria for success include a highly energetic individual with a strong work ethic, desire to learn and take initiative, possess exceptional personal skills, and is adaptable and responsive to our multi-task fast paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with financial advisers across a geographic territory. Help identify new adviser relationships.
- Provide updates and information on the Firm’s investment portfolios while seeking cross-sell opportunities
- Regular communication through phone calls, emails, fulfilling informational requests, webinars, and various other client support activities
- Ability to convey firm’s philosophy, process, investment strategies, individual securities, and views on current financial markets
- Utilize the Firm’s contact management system (CRM) to document communications with our financial adviser partnerships
Qualifications, Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Marketing preferred
- Experience and/or strong desire to work in the investment management industry
- Willingness to learn financial markets, firm’s investment strategies, and competitor landscape
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment
- Candidate should have excellent interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills. Proficient in communicating persuasively and strategically.
- Certifications/Licenses: Ability to acquire FINRA Series 65 license
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
