We are pleased to announce the expansion of the firm’s partnership group, a promotion as well as two new additions to our team.

The London Company is pleased to announce the further expansion of its partnership group, awarding initial equity ownership to Timothy C. McCoy, Jr., Director of Institutional Sales and Marketing. Since joining the firm in 2011, Tim has facilitated the expansion of our client base while increasing the visibility and reputation of our firm in the marketplace. This partnership grant both recognizes and anticipates Tim’s past and future contributions to the firm.

This expansion of the partnership increases the number of employee equity holders from seven to eight, pursuant to The London Company’s previously announced equity plan. In reference to this award, Stephen M. Goddard, CFA, Founder and Chief Investment Officer, commented, “By providing equity participation to our key contributors, we are further aligning the management team’s long term interests with those of our clients and providing the necessary incentives to retain and motivate our most important resource, our employees.”

Timothy A. Mathieu, Equity Trader, was promoted to Director of Trading this past June in recognition of his contributions to augmenting our firm’s trading capabilities since joining the firm last year.

Michael E. Lanotte recently joined the Trading Department. Mr. Lanotte has over 30 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining The London Company he was the Head Equity Trader for Prudential Securities Investment Management division and the Executive Director for Morgan Stanley’s Manager SMA Equity Trading Group. He began his career at Merrill Lynch as an Equity Trader. Mr. Lanotte graduated from Marist College with a B.A. in Economics.

Additionally, Robert L. Wainscott joined the Sales & Marketing team as a Portfolio Specialist. Mr. Wainscott has 14 years of industry experience. Prior to joining The London Company he served as First Vice President for Davenport Asset Management in the Sales & Marketing division and as Vice President of Sales – Institutional Retirement Group for Genworth Financial. He began his career at Wachovia Bank. Mr. Wainscott received his MBA from the Mason School of Business at the College of William and Mary and his B.A. in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College.
