Principal, Co-Lead Portfolio Manager

Mr. Samuel D. Hutchings is a Co-Lead Portfolio Manager for the Income Equity and Large Cap strategies and a member of the firm’s investment team. Sam has 10+ years of experience working in the investment management industry. Prior to joining The London Company, he worked for FactSet Research Systems as a Senior Consultant and for Eaton Vance Investment Managers as a Research Associate.

Sam graduated magna cum laude from the College of the Holy Cross with a B.A. in Philosophy and Economics and received his MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. Sam is a CFA charterholder, a member of the CFA Society Virginia, and has earned the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing.
